Abstract:
The Moisture-Based Watering ON/OFF Water Pump System circuit, based on a moisture sensor, LM393 comparator IC, and relay, automatically activates the water pump in the absence of moisture. The LM393 IC compares the input from the moisture sensor, turning the water pump on when soil moisture drops below the desired level, and turning it off when moisture is detected.

Most moisture-based systems in the market rely on costly soil moisture sensors and complex circuitry. This kit uses readily available soil moisture sensors, ensuring reduced costs and simpler circuitry. Ideal for detecting moisture levels and automatically controlling water pumps to maintain optimal soil moisture.
