This LPG Gas Detection and Alarm System circuit is a crucial safety solution for detecting LPG gas leaks in households, preventing physical and monetary losses when left unchecked. The circuit employs an MQ-8 gas sensor, which is more sensitive to LPG gas than other common sensors like MQ-2. The MQ-8 sensor contains a heater coil and a chemical compound of SnOâ‚‚ (Tin Dioxide). The heater coil remains active as long as the circuit is powered, continuously drawing current even when no gas leak is detected.
