- The LM317 device is a positive-voltage regulator that can be adjusted to provide an output voltage between 1.25 V and 37 V. It can supply more than 1.5 A of current. The output voltage can be set by using two external resistors. The device has a low line regulation of 0.01% and a low load regulation of 0.1%. It also has protection features such as current limiting, thermal overload protection, and safe operating area protection. These features work even if the ADJUST terminal is not connected.

Description
- It is an LM317T Adjustable Voltage Regulator. They are designed to supply more than 1.5 A of load current with an output voltage adjustable over a 1.2 to 37 V range. The nominal output voltage is selected by means of a resistive divider. This makes the device exceptionally easy to use and thereby eliminating the need for stocking of many fixed regulators.
