LM7812? of three terminal positive voltage regulator in the TO-220 package and with fixed positive 12 volt output. Making LM7812 useful in a wide range of applications. It employs internal current limiting, thermal shut down and safe operating area protection, making it essentially indestructible. If adequate heat sinking is provided, they can deliver over 1 Ampere output current.
