In the absence of an IR beam, the water pump activates, ensuring automatic hand sanitization. This circuit reduces the need for manual operation, enhancing hygiene and convenience.

Why this Circuit?
The IR-based detection system allows hands-free activation, reducing the need for physical contact and ensuring hygiene in public and private spaces. The system operates efficiently on a 5V DC supply and provides reliable performance in Indian and global environments.
Circuit Working:
The core principle of this system is detecting interruptions in the IR beam using a photo diode, which controls the water pump. In the absence of an IR beam, the pump activates, dispensing hand sanitizer. When the beam is restored, the pump turns off. LM393 IC acts as the comparator to regulate this process.
Building Instructions:
Follow the included manual to assemble and solder components on the PCB. Identify and place components correctly, especially ensuring the correct orientation of diodes and capacitors. Solder the IC sockets to simplify troubleshooting.
Testing the Kit:
After assembling, connect a 5V DC power source. Test by holding your hand over the IR sensor, activating the water pump. Adjust the IR beam sensitivity using the R2 variable resistor.
